Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pet's complete health care needs.  
      
Surgical Services:  Our sterile surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using modern equipment such as pulse oximeteres, ECGs, and capnometers, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Pain Management:  Preventing and managing pain is our focus at Mid North Animal Hospital.  We offer a large selection of pain medications that will help your pet feel comfortable when they have diseases or injuries that cause them pain, whether it be from minor or major medical or surgical conditions.  If at any time you are concerned your animal may be in pain, do not hesitate to ask one of our staff for further assistance.  Animals heal better when they are pain free, and we take pain management very seriously as we treat our pets as we would want ourselves to be treated.
   
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. 

Ultrasonography:  We have an ultrasound machine which allows us to help determine the diagnosis for your pet faster.  Dr. Ross has a significant amount of expereience with ultrasound.  We will recommend referral for more advanced cases to a board certified specialist.  

Laser Surgery:  In addition to traditional surgical services, we also provide advanced laser surgery capabilities.  This exciting new technology allows us to perform surgery on your pet with less bleeding, less swelling, and faster recovery !!  It also gives us an opportunity to perform some growth removals that would have required a general anesthetic with a local anesthetic instead !  Ask our staff about this exciting new technology and the benefits it provides your pets !

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, and urinalysis on an emergency basis. We also utilize ANTECH laboratories on a regular basis and for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification at affordable prices from AVID.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets from Purina, Eukanuba, Hill's, and Royal Canin. 
   
Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard, and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    
Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.  Difficult cases may be referred to a behaviorist.

Boarding:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff.   All pet's in our boarding facility must be current on their Rabies, DA2PP, and Bordatella vaccines as well as have a current Heartworm test and fecal. 

Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
